The Milford Police Department announced on Monday that they have arrested two men who are wanted by court officials in several Fairfield County municipalities.

On Saturday, Sept. 29, officers in Milford took custody of Easton resident Jamie Brown, 42, who had three warrants out for his arrest.

Brown is accused of failing to appear in court on Aug. 14 in relation to a motor vehicle arrest in Milford in May; for interfering with an officer’s arrest in Milford on July 23 and for violating a court-mandated probation.

The following day, Stratford resident Todd Rankin, 33, was arrested with two warrants out for his arrest. Rankin is accused of failing to appear in court on April 27 for an assault arrest in Stratford on June 14, 2015, and for a possession of marijuana arrest in Bridgeport on April 19 last year.

Both men are being held in custody - Brown on $27,500 bond and Rankin on $21,000 bond - and are scheduled to appear in court later this month to answer the charges against them.
